Verified registry

Public value, a genuine free path, and a safe repeatable workflow are all required.

The audit evaluates the current directory experience. Marketing claims, sponsorship, and payment cannot replace observable public evidence.

Public value

A real listing for a real audience

The directory must produce a public product page or record that helps its stated audience understand or discover the accepted product types.

  • Publicly accessible result
  • Clear audience and category purpose
  • Enough product information to be useful
Free path

A usable route without mandatory payment

A builder must be able to request or create a useful listing without a hidden final-step fee, forced badge, or reciprocal backlink.

  • Optional promotion may remain separate
  • No mandatory payment
  • No undisclosed final-step condition
Workflow safety

A repeatable flow with a detectable result

Reviewers need to inspect the required fields, account behavior, verification, legal confirmations, final action, and expected result safely.

  • Manual workflow can be repeated
  • Result state can be detected
  • Unsafe targets can be paused or revoked

Why participate

Better requirements make automatic submissions more accurate and less disruptive.

Registry metadata helps the product decide who fits, which fields are required, what can be automated, and what result should be recorded.

01

More accurate product matching

Accepted product types, platforms, regions, categories, assets, and exclusions help the registry avoid irrelevant submissions.

02

More consistent submission material

Each campaign uses one confirmed Launch Master instead of unrelated copy and unsupported claims.

03

Clear documented requirements

A versioned target record defines the free path, required fields, expected result, and human-attention boundaries.

Eligibility boundary

Useful directory signals are different from paid inclusion or lead collection.

The audit compares the current public workflow with the conditions that make a target ineligible or unsafe.

Eligible signal

Signals that support a registry candidate.

Not eligible

Conditions that block production inclusion.

Field Eligible signal Not eligible
Public result A visible product page or listing with useful information. A private database, lead form, paid report, or hidden record.
Submission path A current usable route that accepts the stated product types. Broken, invitation-only, deceptive, or undocumented access.
Price A genuine free path to a useful listing. Mandatory payment, badge, backlink, or hidden final-step fee.
Audience A clear category or discovery purpose supported by public listings. Undefined audience or a claim that every product fits without evidence.
Safety Reasonable privacy, terms, ownership, correction, and contact routes. Unnecessary credential, identity, payment, or unsafe data requests.

Application summary

Review the standards, prepare evidence, apply, and enter manual audit.

Approval is a candidate decision, not a guarantee of production release timing or campaign inclusion.

  1. Review the published standards

Confirm that the directory has a real public result, usable free path, relevant audience, and repeatable workflow.

  2. Prepare ownership and workflow evidence

Provide the current URLs, example listings, accepted products, fee disclosure, audience evidence, and review process.

  3. Submit one free application

The application enters a separate candidate process. Submission does not create a production target.

  4. Receive a manual audit result

Approved candidates still require host rules, eligibility metadata, result detection, staging, and a future signed release.

Who can apply?

Owners or operators of real product, SaaS, AI, app, startup, software-alternative, or developer-tool directories can apply when they can verify ownership and explain the audience, accepted product types, submission path, review process, and public listing result.

What does the manual review check?

The review checks ownership, public listings, audience relevance, accepted products, the free submission path, field and asset requirements, privacy and contact information, safety signals, workflow repeatability, and whether the resulting state can be detected and recorded.

Can a directory pay for approval or priority?

No. A directory cannot buy approval, faster review, registry priority, campaign inclusion, or a better eligibility result. Sponsorship and optional promotion cannot change the audit decision.

What happens after approval?

Approval creates a reviewed candidate for a future signed registry release. The target still needs verified host rules, eligibility metadata, expected result detection, and release staging before it can enter a campaign.

Why can a target be paused or removed?

A target can be paused or revoked when its free path, ownership, audience, safety, workflow, result, or public listing quality changes. Approval is not permanent and does not prevent future audit action.
